How To Conquer Your Day With These 3 Simple Recipes

Starting your day on the right foot with the right foods can make all the difference when you want to get the most out of your day.

But it gets even better, here are easy 3 recipes I encourage you to try that can help you jumpstart your day.

Eggs 🥚

Rich in protein and a wealth of important vitamins and minerals, such as selenium and riboflavin, eggs are a great way to start your day.

From over easy to scrambled with just salt, pepper, and your favorite infused olive oil, there are many different ways to enjoy your eggs.

Like this Basic Frittata Recipe:

6 large eggs, for a 10-inch skillet

¼ cup heavy cream

1 cup Fresh Spinach

2 garlic cloves, minced

¼ teaspoon sea salt, more for sprinkling

Freshly ground black pepper

Infused Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Whisk the eggs, cream, garlic, and salt until well combined. Set aside

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a 10 in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat, then add the egg mixture. Add spinach, evenly distribute and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until the eggs are set.

Bananas & Berries 🍓

High in fiber and nutrient-dense, but low in calories, berries and bananas are a great way to take the day by the horns. This classic combination can satisfy your sweet tooth and provide an early morning energy boost.

Here’s one of my favorite smoothies packed with fiber to keep you going.

1 very ripe banana, frozen banana

1 cup frozen blueberries

½ to 1 cup unsweetened plain cashew milk

1 tbsp infused coconut oil (optional)

½ cup fresh baby spinach leaves (optional)

1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

¼ to ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, to taste (optional)

½ cup ice (optional) I prefer mine without but it depends on the consistency you like!

Honey or Agave to taste (optional)

Instructions

Put the banana, blueberries, ½ cup cashew milk, spinach, flaxseed, coconut oil, and cinnamon in your blender. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute. Pour in your favorite tumbler and head out the door!

Chia Seeds & Coconut Porridge 🥥

Tiny but powerful, chia seeds are an excellent breakfast.

They’re already rich in protein and fiber but when you add the creaminess of coconut milk this makes for a morning treat.

-1 oz Chia Seeds

-1 cup Coconut Milk

1 tbsp infused honey

Fruit slices ( Kiwi, Banana, Raspberries, etc)

Instructions

In a mason jar (while you get ready for work) let the chia seed and coconut milk combine for about 30 minutes to allow the seeds to swell, then top it off with your favorite sliced fruit and infused honey. That’s it!

If you’re feeling jazzy, brew a cup of Green Tea for an antioxidant boost. 🍵

But know this, if you’re going to accomplish your goals this year, you must be able to master your day. And these simple, quick, and easy recipes can make starting your day easier than you ever thought possible.
